Eccentric Sculptural Vessel

This was made for a series of work back in 2018 when I was experimenting with making composite pieces.  A combination of a wheel thrown base, then coiled, then a wheel thrown neck.  A painterly pallet of layered coloured slips then glazed with a bone ash glaze to cast a diffuse soft veil over the form.  62cm in height, 22cm at its widest point, opening at the top is 4cm wide.  Would look great atop a piano or standing as a work of art in the corner of a living room.
